Christmas Gifts That Make A Difference - Chris & Denise Williams
Chris and Denise Williams are headed to Honduras, via a year in language school in Costa Rico. Denise is a pharmacist and will be a very important part of the work in a mission hospital there. Chris drills and services water wells and God will put his skills to work there to keep things running. They will be working with Baptist Medical And Dental Missions International. It's not a support agency. It's a covering agency that maintains their financial accountability and provides a structure through which mission work in country can be coordinated. This means that Chris and Denise will be living by faith. This means that they will live day-to-day as God provides through people like you. Lots of people think they are crazy. But, let me ask you, do you think that an investment in eternity is crazy?
The first time I went to Honduras with BMDMI, I preached in a tent outside the clinic. After preaching the gospel for the first time, I gave an invitation for people to follow Christ. Over 70 people stood. One of the first was an 80 or 90 year old man with tears in his eyes. The field is open, God is moving, Chris and Denise are going, and it is worth the investment.
